Spring Skiing and Lessons Learned

One of my favorite times of the year is Spring skiing time. After freezing through all that winter had to offer, the sun shines and the snow softens into fun bumps! Mogul skiing is my favorite, but I understand that many see moguls as obstacles that need to be avoided.

Doing what you love to do is the purpose of www.JoeSkiBum.com Hopefully we can offer good sound advice and solid test tools to get you through the “bumps”. When I ski I set my path and then I ski that path, this is called skiing your line. Skiing your line is a lot like having your business running in the way that you want it to be. Does your business have a purpose and are working towards that purpose?

As I ski, I always hold a vision in my mind of where I am going and how I am getting to my goals. Knowing that I had done the hard work of learning new skills and expanding my abilities makes seeing my goals come to be. Hold your vision in your mind and never let it go.

Another lesson I have learned is to keep moving, but more importantly to keep moving in the desired direction toward my goal. Skiing in the soft deep snow of spring can be difficult but does not have to be with the right skills. Keep feet moving through the difficult snow conditions and make you turns count. Never stop turning! I teach to keep turning until you need to turn the other way. Maybe this can apply to your business or personal goals.

Are you developing the skills you need to take you through the bumps? Are you doing the daily exercises that will condition you towards attaining your goals? Day to day activities build on each other to get you to where and what you want to be. Keep moving.

Finding the right tool for the job is another lesson that I have learned. Whether I am skiing or marketing online I seek out the best tools for the job at hand. For the best in ski equipment I use http://bit.ly/9uxpeG and as for my online enterprises it is very important to use effective tools to create the results that will keep me out skiing and doing what I love to do.

So if you are seeking success online or out in the world success leaves clues and results don’t lie. Get on the right gear, use the right tool, set up your personal training and get to work moving you and your business to those goals that you seek.

Good advice Joe- Keep Moving. A lot of people get stumped and slow down and stop. I’ve been guilty of that before.
Gonna check out that I love video review thing.
Interesting resource.

Nice post Joe. I just meet you through you following me on the big “T”. I always like coming and checking out who follows me and seeing what they do and how they do it. I look for people like you who have a like mind and have a good heart of helping people succeed in life while reaping the rewards while doing it.
I know it sounds easy, but you and I both know that diligence to the vision is crucial.
I just read the peace on luck…luck comes to those who place themselves in position for when opportunity arises and you luckily acted apon it..lol
At least that is what poker has taught me, and golf.
Good to meet you and I hope we can continue to be friends.

Have a wonderful day.

It’s a very good analogy. As a bump skier myself, I need to start thinking of my business as a mogul run: It’s not the doing but the challenge in doing that makes it worth while. Incidentally, spring skiing is the gift you receive for putting up with the nasty cold all winter long. It’s tragic that more people don’t ski into late April, or May.
